Discharged cotton, fussy cut floral fabric.

Discharge Nine Patch (1997) 33″ H x 33″ W

Discharged cotton sewn with seams turned out with loose threads. Machine quilted on domestic Bernina with fine metallic thread.

African Violets (1998) 51″ H x 56″ W

Discharge shibori dyed and printed cottons.  Sewn with inset fabric in seams and loose strings. Quilted with metallic opalescent thread on domestic Bernina.
