Images printed with a sublimation disperse dye heat transfer process, along with monoprinting. Stitched on domestic sewing machine.

Landing (2020) 25″ H x 25″ W

Disperse dye phototransfer (from original drawing) on white satin. Quilted with rayon threads and top stitch thread on domestic sewing machine.  Reverse mitered corners and mounted on wood stretcher bars

Mapping (2020) 24″ H x 27″ W

Disperse dye painted on papers and heat transferred onto white satin.  Stitched with rayon threads and topstitch thread on domestic sewing machine.  Reverse mitered corners and mounted on wood stretcher bars. 

Spreading (2020) 25″ H x 27″ W

Disperse dyes painted directly onto white satin.  Stitched with rayon threads and top stitch threads on domestic sewing machine.  Reverse mitered corners and mounted on wood stretcher bars.  

Blue Light Special (2000) 53″ H x 51″ W

Disperse dye photo transfers on satin with commercial cottons, and raw edge vat dyed indigo cottons and rayons.  Stitched on domestic sewing machine.

Disappearing (2000) 29″ H x 32″ W

Disperse dye photo transfers on satin with raw edge commercial fabrics and discharge dyed fabrics.  Stitched on domestic sewing machine.
